Unilever Pulls the Plug on Influencer Marketing

Unilever, which is one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies and advertisers, has decided to no longer work with influencers that pay to acquire followers. So reports The Chicago Tribune.

The company has pledged to not pay for its own social media followers. Unilever will also work with other firms to improve advertising transparency.
