Google Fined $5B By the European Commission

The European Commission has fined Google $5 billion for anti-trust violations. So reports CNET.

The fine was levied because the company required phone manufacturers using the Android operating system to include Google apps on their phones. The regulator believes that the requirement gives Google an unfair advantage in competing for search related revenues.
