French Regulators Slap Google with $57M Fine

French data protection regulator CNIL has hit Google with a $75 million fine associated with allegations that the company violated the General Data Protection Regulation. So reports DigiDay.

Among other allegations, CNIL says Google has made it difficult for users to read details regarding providing consent for using personal data for marketing.
