McDonald’s Marketing Prank Goes Awry in Australia

McDonald’s attempt at an “April Fools’ Day” joke angered consumers after the chain falsely claimed it was adding a new “McPickle” burger to its menu. So reports Fox News.

Patrons on social media expressed disappointment, although some realized the gag before the reveal. McDonald’s Australia said they were pleased some customers enjoyed the ruse, and was non-committal on if the burger would ever be produced.
