Balenciaga Designer Apologizes for 'Inappropriate' Campaign

Balenciaga’s creative director said in an Instagram post that he wanted to “personally apologize” for an ad campaign that showed children holding teddy bears while outfitted with chains and fishnet stockings. So reports CBS News.

BalenciagaDemna Gvasalia, who goes by his first name, wrote: “I take my responsibility. It was inappropriate to have kids promote objects that had nothing to do with them.”

The luxury fashion company previously apologized for the ad campaign and a separate ad that showed documents on a desk, one of which was from a Supreme Court decision on child pornography.
