SAP’s new Digital Consumer Insight provides users of the technology with data on customers inside stores and with other information regarding individuals’ age groups, gender, and past locations by tapping into mobile phones. So reports InfoWorld.

Among other functions, the technology will let marketers customize their advertising, evaluate activity at different stores, and target campaigns to people at specific locations.
