Salesforce Buys Word Processing App Company Quip for $750M

Salesforce is expanding its product offering by purchasing word processing company Quip for $750 million. So reports TechCrunch.

Quip is a cloud-based program that is viewed as a competitor to Microsoft Word and was co-founded by former Facebook CTO Bret Taylor.
