Alphabet Backs Off from Twitter Purchase, Marketers Disappointed

Some digital marketers say they were disappointed to learn that Alphabet has backed away from bidding on Twitter because the acquisition could help the parent company of Google and other popular web brands pump new life into social network G+. So reports MediaPost.

Indeed, Alphabet has a strong track record of success with buying technology companies with the firm’s Google Analytics and mobile device advertising platforms being developed from acquisitions.
