Analysts React to Salesforce.com Plan to Double Annual Revenue Growth

Plans by Salesforce.com to double its annual revenue growth at a time when competition among firms that provide technology for client relationship management is growing have been met with mixed reactions from industry analysts. So reports the San Francisco Business Times.

Andrew Bartels, a research analyst at Forrester Research Inc., maintains that a 20% growth rate is reasonable but 30% is a stretch, while a Gartner paper notes that the firm must fend off competition from SAP, Microsoft, and Oracle.
