Court Rejects Claims that Facebook is Liable for Terrorism

A federal court in New York has ruled that Facebook isn’t liable for actions of a terrorism organization that used the company’s platform for recruiting, planning violence, and conducting other activities. So reports Reuters.

Relatives of Americans killed in a Hamas attack sought $3 billion, but the court ruled the plaintiffs couldn’t show that they themselves had suffered any actual harm.
