Sears Kills TV Ads in Shift to Digital Marketing

In a highly unorthodox move, struggling Sears Holdings ran no television advertising during the holiday season, despite the company having a substantial portion of customers who are elderly and are likely view traditional media. So reports Fortune.

Sears, which has been closing stores in response to declining sales, attributes its lack of TV advertising to an increased focus on digital marketing.
