Facebook Settles Litigation Against Alleged Seller of Bots

Facebook has reached an undisclosed settlement with Social Media Series Limited of New Zealand after alleging that the company had sold millions of automated likes on both Facebook and Instagram. So reports The Verge.

Facebook had maintained that Social Media Series Limited violated the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act as well as laws against breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
