Arby is moving towards a mobile ordering, payment, and delivery experience. The company says Schwing is the perfect person to fill this role. He worked for Proctor & Gamble for 16 years where he oversaw the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and a mobile app to help consumers keep track of their brushing habits.
Jim Taylor, president of Arby’s, said that the fast-food chain was looking for an experienced brand manager and marketing executive from outside the restaurant industry. Despite the push of competitors embracing plant-based alternatives, Arby’s decided to remain true to its slogan: “We Have the Meats.”
