Twitch Users Come for Content, Stay Because of Community: CMO

Twitch CMO Doug Scott said users come for content but stay on the platform because of the sense of community it provides. So reports Cheddar

Twitch“When people come to Twitch, you might initially come for that content but when you get that Go Live notification from a streamer you love, your instinct is not to come in and just see what’s streaming. It’s to come in and just say hi," Scott said.

Scott noted that users essentially become their own media companies and Twitch will always stay “focused on creators” to ensure they have a place to shine.
