The move comes after a nearly two year search to fill the role last held by Tony Weisman. In the role, Acevedo is responsible for “brand marketing, product innovation, field marketing, advertising and digital marketing initiatives,” according to the article.
The appointment is effective immediately and he reports directly to Scott Murphy, Dunkin's President.
Acevedo previously served at The Coca-Cola Company, where he was most recently responsible for the marketing of the firm’s tea portfolio.
