Burger King's North American CMO Out  

Ellie Doty, the North American CMO of Burger King, has left the company. So reports AdWeek.

Burger KingDoty was hired in June of 2020 as Burger King’s first North American CMO. A spokesperson for RBI said Doty’s departure was a “personal decision.”

Yosef Hojchman, a 15-year veteran of Restaurant Brands International (RBI), parent company of Burger King, will serve as interim CMO.

Doty’s departure isn’t the only recent major marketing departure at the company. In April, Fernando Machado, global CMO of RBI, left to join Activision Blizzard. Six months later, global chief brand officer Paloma Azulay left the company. Although the titles were different, Azulay was Machado’s replacement.
