Ex-Golden Knights CMO Takes Role with Legends

The former CMO of the Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL is heading to Dallas and will become the CMO of sports consulting company Legends. So reports LVSportsBiz.com.

Hockey Golden Knights LogoBrian Killingsworth became CMO of the Golden Knights in 2017. Prior to that he was CMO of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL.

At Legends, Killingsworth “will oversee Legend’s marketing and brand strategy, communications, sales campaigns and marketing metrics, digital platforms and creative services team,” according to a statement. “He will work closely with clients to provide marketing and branding consulting to heighten the customer experience, as well as develop revenue-generating marketing campaigns and capabilities to drive awareness and sales.”

With the Golden Knights, he was responsible for all the team’s branding, marketing, merchandising and fan development, and even oversaw the development of Chance, the VGK mascot.
