CMO’s Demise: More Clickbait Than Prediction

There has been a lot of ink spilled declaring the CMO role dead. In fact, recent surveys show CMO tenure is at its lowest in more than a decade. However, those stats and juicy headlines don’t paint a full picture. So reports Ad News.

"So while the title and how it’s conveyed internally and externally may have shifted, the core table stake requirements of the role remain and should be here to stay – commercially and customer-driven; invested and balanced across the long and short term,” says Vanessa Lyons, according to the article.
