Starbucks Names New CMO

Starbucks has named Brady Brewer as its next Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). He has been with the company for almost 19 years and has served in a number of different roles. So reports The Drum.

starbucks 2346226 640 smallBrewer, Starbucks’ senior vice president of digital customer experience, is taking over for Matthew Ryan in March. Ryan, who took the CMO job in May 2018, will “transition from Starbucks” next month. He will continue to serve as an advisor through November.

In his new role, Brady Brewer will report to chief operating officer Roz Brewer. The two are not related.

Brewer’s promotion comes amid Starbucks’ plans to push into sustainability with a goal of becoming “resource positive” within ten years.
