Xiaomi Names Sharma to Head India Marketing Ahead of 'Festive Season'

Xiaomi appointed Anuj Sharma to head of marketing in India. So reports The Economic Times.

The Chinese headset maker is battling Korea's Samsung for India's "highly-competitive" smartphone market. Sharma has more than 15 years of experience in the tech industry, including time at Lenovo and Motorola.

Xiaomi relies on social media, Mi Fan and Mi Community forums to limit marketing expenditures.
