ACCC Concerned About Facebook, Google Ad 'Dominance'

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) lambasted media giants Google and Facebook for their digital media “dominance” and has issued 23 recommendations for government consideration. So reports Campaign.

Some of its concerns include privacy and anti-competition practices. According to the ACCC, the companies “distorted the ability of businesses to compete on their merits in advertising, media and a range of other markets.” The highly anticipated report was initiated in 2017.
