Google Proposes Policies for Data Collection

Google has released a proposal for industry standards regarding collection of data based on individuals’ online activities that would give consumers more control over their privacy. So reports DigiDay.

According to the proposal, consumers should be able to see and control what data is collected, know who is collecting the data and understand which firms are delivering ads.
