Kellyn Smith Kenny CMO of Hilton, announced she is leaving the company just a day after Hilton announced it is laying off 2,100 employees, or about 22% of its corporate staff. So reports Marketing Dive.

HiltonSmith Kenny joined the company in early 2018 from Uber. In her role at Hilton, Smith Kenny was recognized for helping expand its loyalty program, which increased to 100 million members, as well as overseeing several popular campaigns involving celebrity ambassadors, such as Pitch Perfect’s Anna Kendrick.
