Who Made Forbes' 'CMO Next' List?

Forbes has released its ‘CMO Next” list, which spotlights 50 “innovative marketing leaders who are transforming and redefining their role, their business and the marketing industry.”

Some of the notable names on this year’s list includes:

  • Melissa Grady, Cadillac’s CMO: Her efforts to launch the 2021 Escalade, which included collaboration with Spike Lee, as well as a private concert with James Blake, helped land her on the list.
  • Jessie Becker, SVP of Marketing at Impossible Foods: She helped launch and scale the Impossible Burger and pivoted the company’s “in-person tasting strategy" to a digital strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Tesa Aragones, Discord’s CMO: Her efforts to launch a college ambassador program and a virtual event with more than 200,000 attendees helped land her on the list.
  • Nick Tran, Head of Global Marketing at TikTok: Navigating TikTok's rise and tapping into trends that connect with the platform’s users are some of the reasons Tran is on the list.
