'Foolproof' Ad Shot Down by Regulators

Australian Ad Standards ordered a Sportsbet ad on Twitter's mobile platform to be discontinued because it featured a “negative stereotype.” So reports iGaming & Business.

The ad featured a female beauty pageant contestant with a mobile phone who intimated the betting app was "foolproof" while the word was displayed on the screen. Although the company said the ad was part of a larger campaign in which all sorts of people, not just women, are portrayed as foolish yet still able to use the app, the ad regulators still found it in violation.
