She takes over at a time when the chain has been hurt by the pandemic and has rolled out new menu items, such as bowls and burritos, to try to capture business in takeout market.
Donahue joins from Marriott, where she served most recently as the VP of brand, marketing and digital for the company’s Marriott’s Americas unit. She has also previously served as VP of marketing for Hilton Enterprise’s Americas unit and VP of global brand marketing at DoubleTree.
